Using the built-in IPSEC VPN on Windows

To install automatically, use the generated user Powershell script.

  1. Copy the user PowerShell script (desktop.ps1) to the client computer.
  2. Open Powershell as Administrator.
  3. Run the following command:
# Single User install
powershell -ExecutionPolicy ByPass -File $HOME\desktop.ps1 -Add
  1. If you have more than one account on your Windows 10 machine (e.g. one with administrator privileges and one without) and would like to have the VPN connection available to all users, pass the parameter -AllUsers
# Multi User install
powershell -ExecutionPolicy ByPass -File $HOME\desktop.ps1 -Add -AllUsers
  1. Once your VPN instance has been installed, you can configure or remove it under Network & Internet Settings

Using WireGuard® (Tunsafe)

  1. Download TunSafe and install it
  2. Download the Wireshark "manual" config
  3. Import the config file into TunSafe, and connect.
